HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY! DD and her husband left about 2 hours ago for Colorado! Ate a great Thanksgiving meal and climbed in the already loaded truck to "head for the mountains"! 🏔

And thinking of you and David today and praying for safe travels for your DD and family as they drive to Colorado! It's cold here with leftover snow on Pikes Peak but roads are fine after a snow last Monday night.

We're having our big dinner in about 90 minutes. DH made a pecan pie for the first time and a homemade pumpkin. Tomorrow Tim and I will dig out all the Christmas decorations and begin. I also ordered 500 solar powered mini-lights to drape around our bushes etc. I will write later this weekend.

They'll LOVE the "leftover snow" and they love, love, LOVE the colder weather so it should be a perfect few days for them! Can't wait to see pictures of your Christmas decorations! My plans are to finish this weekend but, as luck would have it, we have 70% chance of rain for Friday...with possible high winds 🌬🌦 and then 100% chance of rain on Saturday! I won't mind postponing IF we do get the rain...we really need it! AND...we had a wonderful Thanksgiving...hope DH's pecan pie was as good as DD's...she makes hers with chocolate and bourbon!
