Can you tell in these days of cold and snow, I am enjoying going through all the photos from my trip last fall to the hot and dry western National Parks? Back to the Grand Canyon today. The South Rim buildings and history goes back 100 years and more.

It was bitter cold here in Virginia, last weekend. That made it refreshing to be invited to a nice, cozy greenhouse to take some photos of orchids.

This is SOOC JPEG from the Fuji X-E2. I always shoot raw but this thing puts out awesome jpegs. This is f4 iso3200.

Beautiful photo Dave! What's was the lighting setup?

Thanks! I had both a Sto-Fen Omni-Bounce and a Rogue Flashbender on my speedlite. Speedlite was about a foot directly above the plant, perpendicular to the floor and pointing to the left. The Flashbender was curved down just the slightest bit in a small arch. Shot it ETTL with a three-shot flash exposure compensation bracket, and chose the -1/3 shot.
