20 Mule Team Canyon Road in Death Valley. Can you imagine driving a wagon pulled by a mule team through this area in the heat?

After cleanup duty outside...IN THE SHADE...in our almost 100 degree...I CAN NOT IMAGINE!

Your posts reminded me of another recent discovery found in my photos of DH's family. My mother-in-law's high school graduation photo from 1937. She is the third person from the right in the middle row and the first person in her family to graduate from high school in Baltimore.
