I thought we were officially done with soccer season until DD called me this afternoon with some awesome news! DGD was named to 2nd Team ALL STATE by the Texas Assn. of Soccer Coaches Organization making her one of the top 8 forwards in the State of Texas for 2018! First Bellville soccer player to be named to any State Soccer Team and a really special surprise...we didn't even know she was being considered!

Was the scheming, secret phone calls, changing dates, whispers, frustrations, sneakiness and time worth it? YES ...finally got to tell DGD's we'll be celebrating their birthdays at DW this July! Happy tears from the Princess and big smile from the soon to be 16 year old!
