I thought the same thing this AM...especially since gravity would have the tenticles below the body....but thought that 4:30 was too early to ask that question..

I visited the Montezuma National Wildlife Refuge over the weekend. While didn't see much in the way of "photographical" wildlife, this immature Bald Eagle gave me a thrill.
