The Ol' Man Island pool never seems to get any hype, so I didn't expect much. It was really nice and I was pleasantly surprised. I think it is on par with the pools at AKL & WL. One of our big considerations when picking a resort is the pool and I would recommend the Port Orleans complex to anyone.
Ol' Man Island has a slide, water falling from a flume and several other jets of water spewing around. There is even a kitchen sink fountain. There is a kiddie pool on one side and a nicely shaded large themed play area on the other. We stayed in Magnolia Terrace on the side facing the river, which was great because we were right across the bridge from the pool. Its water slide is longer and faster than POFQ and it was a bit intimidating to DS-5 at first. I think he was nervous since he couldn't see the bottom from the top. After he did it one time we couldn't keep him off of it.
