I have stayed in both sections and both have their charms. I do prefer the mansions, as I love the manicured lawns and fountains. Parterre Place is my favorite location very romantic.

I would stay at the mansions for an anniversary stay. I think they are more romantic in the room decor. And I love feeling like a southern belle everytime I'm there!!

The Alligator Bayou side (IMO) is too "woodsy" for me. Just my preferance though!! If you like woodsy then AB may be the way to go for you!

I have some photos of quiet pool near building 14 in AB section. The water is warm even in the middle of the night. One night I had the pool to myself and did some good swimming. Its quite deep at one end and is sort of s shaped.
