Are children required to show photo identification for entrance into the parks? Or... to claim their reservation at a Disney resort? Someone told me yes, they do need a photo id.

Sassy, it has been many years since I have been to the World, but at that time no children didn't need to. My most recent DisneyLand experiance also showed that children did not need to show ID. If your child is in school, it never hurts to bring their school identification just in case any other troubles come up.

Hope you have a great trip! :goodvibes

Children 10 and over need an id to purchase an annual pass.

Neither DS 16 or DD 7 had to ever provide any form of id while at WDW. DS carries his due to his age but DD has none. We do not purchase annual passes.
