All these photos and stories have me excited to make memories with my family in December at WDW. Chip and Dale hilarious and I would love to see them impersonate Cpt. Jack Sparrow.
I'm so slow when it comes to capturing "the" moment but this was just after it happened at least. Dh had never had a character encounter and was more than a little surprised when The Beast walked by him and then suddenly stopped and put his face about 1 inch away from dh's...as if to challenge him. What made it even funnier to me was that we were there for our anniversary and dh was on a call from work. Later I told dh the Beast was just trying to tell him not to let work interfere with our romantic getaway- and that he probably should listen.....
Colonel Hathi doesn't make regular appearances. He was out for a special AP Holders' party at AK last Sept. 29th to celebrate the release of "The Jungle Book" DVD.
DD took her talking Jessie with us to all the parks and Sleeping Beauty took the time to talk to her about the doll and listen to what Jessie said, DD loved it
And, while having lunch at Crystal Palace Tigger took DD's drink and walked away with it while he "drank" it, she thought it was so funny
I was sitting at the table looking at pictures on the camera and Mickey came up behind me. He turned the camera around so it was facing us and then motioned for me to take a picture of us like that.
I think Disneyland needs to send their characters to DisneyWorld to see how it is done! I have very few "fun" pics of characters at D-land. In fact, it is hard to come by characters unless you are on Main Street or Toontown!!
This is really making me excited to go in 11 days!!
You're thinking of the same place as the Character Connection, just now it has a different name and different backdrops - now it's called "Epcot Character Spot."
