Pics from Club 33 Visit

Just wanted to share a few pictures from our lunch at Club 33 on February 28th, 2011. Hubby's brother is fortunate to have the "hook up" and so we had lunch for our 7th Anniversary. The service was beyond excellent and while the food we had at Napa Rose a few nights before was technically better, the experience of Club 33 can't be beat!

We were minor celebrities for about 3 minutes while we took pics in front of the "33" sign and those waiting for their ressies at Blue Bayou started to gather around to catch a glimpse inside. I pushed the buzzer and gave our party's name and heard the magic "click" of the door. People outside told us to leave the door open as long as we could and we did. It was funny.

We spent about 2 1/2 hours inside, eating, drinking, and taking lots of pics. There weren't many other people there, so it was very quiet and romantic.

We ended up purchasing a baseball cap for hubby and a charm bracelet for me from the curio cabinet. I was able to take some pics of some of the things for sale.

Ooh, I really want the charm bracelet and scarf! So very cool. When I went, I spent pretty much the cost of the meal after tax and tip and such on merch, so it was a reallllly expensive night, but so totally worth it.

So glad you had a wonderful time. It really is a special experience.
We were lucky enough to go and I'll never forget it. Now everytime I walk through New Orleans Square, I just sigh and smile.

The view from up there is awesome. We all just had the best giggle about the loo. Walking around the different rooms and taking it all in was great. And oh the food, man.....was that great too.

Dare I ask what the bill was? You know, I've always wondered why they don't list the price of the meals inside the menus. Unless you're rich, that's kind of an important concern. I'd rather not ask the waiter "How much is this? How much is that" for everything that looks good.

I'm speaking more in general than I am strictly about Club 33. But yeah...
