Hi,

Trip Report has been posted under 06/05/2005 First Disney Cruise
There is also a new album in my webshots
I finally uploaded some pics from our cruise to Webshots. One of the CD's I ordered from Walgreens only had one image on it and another pack of film has not been developed yet, so I'll include those with my trip report when I get that corrected - and when I complete my trip report. Hope you enjoy the pics!

Terrific pics...

We were on the same cruise as you. I hope your family had as good of a time as mine did.

Thanks for posting the pics. They were great. I can't wait to read your trip report.

Awesome photos. Thanks so much for sharing. It looked like you were having a blast!

Great pictures!!! Can't wait to read your trip report. We will be leaving in a few more days. :cool1:

looks like you had a great time! the gardens look wonderful! we didn't get to go on any excursions when we went a few years ago, thanks for sharing those!

I was WONDERing if all the menus changed? I don't know if you'd know that or not, but it's worth a shot to ask. We cruised 9/04.

ladytampa,

These pics keep me going until my first DCL cruise!
Dis you have a deluxe family verandah stateroom? We have a regular deluxe stateroom, and your pictures looe like there's more room than I thought there was. The chair in the corner where your DH was sitting...is that space in a regular verandah room?
Thanks!

The Wonder, the Wonder! Finally a thread about the Wonder. She's been shoved to the side since the Magic has gotten so much attention lately. I was so glad to see it and your family having such a nice time! Thanks for sharing! :cheer2:

I don't know if the menus have changed since this was my first cruise, but I can tell you what I had for dinner:

Babyback ribs, sweet potato fries, cold soup [excellent]
Beef tenderloin, mashed potatos, cold soup [excellent]
Blackbeard's jumbo crab cake, Caribbean style gumbo soup,Treasure of the Seas Grilled Shrimp and Scallops (I kept the scroll menu from Pirate Night) [excellent]
Sirloin Steak, ceasar salad, baked potato [tough steak]

I enjoyed most of the dinners. I usually didn't have desert (I prefer after-dinner drinks like Kahlua), but the kids had mickey bars and ice cream with sprinkles. I ordered lemon meringue pie to take back to the cabin once, but my husband ate it while I was sleeping so I don't know if it was good or not. He always had desert and said every one he had was good. He had the chocolate cake twice so that must be really, really good.

Yes, we had the deluxe family stateroom with verandah. The seat where my husband was sitting is where the fifth bed would come down. We only had four so we never had it down. Across from the chair is a trunk-like chest of drawers. I don't think that space is in the regular verandah room.

I liked having that extra space for storing shorts, t-shirts and shoes. We hung up our semi-formal wear. I thought we had more than enough room for everybody, so we didn't feel like we were on top of each other.

I love your pictures! Thank you for sharing them with us. Cataway Cay looks like a blast- I can't wait to go. :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc
