Picnic table lunch at Trail's End Buffet?

I was thinking a "take out" lunch here would be kind of fun. Are there picnic tables outside close to Trail's End where we could enjoy lunch? Or will we be bombarded by birdies? Anyone try this? I think an adult take out lunch is around 9$. I thought my family of 5 could nibble from it. Any suggestions? Thanks!

There are picnic tables right at the edge of Pioneer Hall on the side by the Petting Zoo. I have never seen anyone eating there, but we sat there (out of the shade) while waiting for others. I don't think the birds would bother you. (Unless it would be Peacocks) I think you could enjoy a picnic there.
