Picnic in the Park

Has anyone tried this yet? I tried searching for info about reviews and didn't find any. It sounds interesting and may be fun.

DH and I did the picnic in the park at the beginning of the month. The only problem we had was were we wanting to do tier one and get sandwiches, however, all the sandwiches are premade and they cannot take items off of them. I do not like mayo and the majority of them had mayo. Instead we did tier two and had the chicken. Very yummy. Mac and cheese as the side and was plenty for the two of us. And the desserts are amazing! we ordered rice crispy treats, and these were no mickey shaped rice crispy treats, they were huge! We noticed all of their desserts are of amazing size. Enjoy!

How do you go about doing the Dining in the Park...like where do you go to order etc? This seems really like a fun idea to do.

It's at the Animal Kingdom ... you order either at Island Mercantile (Discovery Island) or Kusafiri Bakery (Africa) and pick up later at Kusafiri.

1) I admit that we have not tried it.
2) But, we have friends in whose opinion I have come to trust.
3) All said the liked it.
4) So, based upon these thoughts, I would have to recommend it.
5) And, what a nice respite to sit on the designated benches and eat.

Kathy did a blog about it. I have never tried it but it seems to be a hit with everyone that tries it.

I usually do the Tusker House lunch when I am there, but the Picnic would be something I would consider trying.
