We are going to wdw in november  and i am trying to finish setting up my ADRs. Right now I have the castle for breakfast, Norway for lunch and 1900 Fare for a dinner (all on different days). I think those are all the character meals that we will be doing so there are sooo many other choices for meals now. My question is do most places have standard kid friendly foods? Some of the restaurants look super yummy to me but my 6 year old can be really REALLY picky. :headache: We lay down the law here at home but when we are on a magical vacation we don't want nightly food wars! Will places cook to order at all? For example, chicken parmesan with out the sauce etc. I am thinking about Ohana because it sounds like fun but I also don't want to leave a big meal with a hungry child. I personally HATE kids menus, can we be more unhealthy??? and often try to share my meal but then I end up with boring food and I am the foodie in my family. Basically the plain healthy food is what she will eat but no sauce or seasoning etc. Thoughts? We are staying at POP and have the dining plus plan. Thanks!

You can ask for a special kids menu at Ohana - typical kid offerings, hot dog, chicken nuggets, etc. If you're on DDP it's not relevant, but if you're paying OOP you still have to pay the price for the family style meal, even if you ask for something different.

If you're on DDP she will have to order from the kids' menus (except at buffets and family style) but if you can find something she might eat you can always ask for plain preparation, no sauce, no seasonings.
