Picky eater-Need advice?

My family will be making our first visit to WDW in September. My DD's 7 & 3 will eat just about anything, however, my DS 9 is the complete oposite. He would live on nachos and BP & J if we let him. My question is this, some restaurants do serve PB & J, but will others do so if you ask in advance? like Chef Mickey's (we have a PS there) and Sci-Fi (I'd like to make a PS here)? There is nothing on the Sci-Fi menu he would eat, but could I bring something purchased from counter service in to the Sci-Fi as Disney would be getting our $$ anyway (whether from the check at Sci-Fi or at the counter service). Any advice would be great!

Most restaurants are pretty accommodating and many keep PB&J in the kitchen just for the reason you have told. Dont really see any QSL nearby that have PB&J on the menu. You might want to bring it with you, give the restaurant a call ahead of time or ask the waiter when you get there. Dont think you will have any problem with the restaurants accommodating your DS though. It happens all the time.

My DS, who will be 3 when we go to WDW, is also very picky. Fortunately, he does like most breakfast food; so I planned several character breakfasts at late times to be brunch. However, we are doing the FDP at Mama Melrose's. After hearing many say that most sit down restaurants are accomodating if you call & ask in advance. I spoke with the person at the podium at MM, who in turn asked some servers if they could make a PB&J. Their answer was "No, and you can't bring any outside food in either." Maybe it was just a bad day, and maybe I would've gotten a different answer if I'd spoken with someone in the kitchen. It did make me rethink my dining plans for that evening, tho.
