We have in all our past cruises stayed at the Airport Hyatt the night prior to our cruise. This time we are going to stay at the Rivera. I assume one bus will pick up from multiple resort for this. About what time do they usually pick up guest since checkout is 11:00? I know they now have a hard and fast rule about arriving at the port at your arrival time and not before so just wondering..ºoº

DCL transfers may pick up from multiple resorts (typically no more than 3). Or, if enough people are going to the cruise from the same resort as to fill the bus, it may only pick up at one resort.

Currently, people are reporting pick ups as early at 8:30 from the resorts, but you won't know for sure when yours is until the night before.

What is your port of arrival time? On the Fantasy 3-night on Nov.11, our PAT was 11:15-11:30 Boarding group 5. Arrived at 11:15. By the time we got through waiting for our covid results(ten minutes to do the test/paperwork, 40 minutes for results), then a quick check-in they were already calling for boarding groups 12-14 when we arrived inside terminal. at 1pm. Stopping for photos and the Mickey and Minnie show in the atrium, then they direct you to your muster station and take a photo of the QR code, we finally got to Cabanas about 1:30 So unless they change protocols by then, add about 1.5-2 hours to your PAT for an estimate of when you may be on the ship.

Since you cruised so recently I hope you know/remember the answer to my question.

We added resort transfers to our cruise reservation after our initial booking. I would feel much more comfortable if I saw somewhere on our reservation page that Disney "knew" which resort we were being picked up at. It's not something I want to deal with they day before when I realize we haven't gotten any paperwork and I dread the thought of a three hour phone call now if it's no big deal.

Bottom line . . . did your reservation say anywhere that you were being picked up at the Riviera?

Thanks, and hope you had an amazing time!

We added the Riviera pickup much later after we had made our DCL reservations. I did call back later and they confirmed the pickup for us was the Riviera and not the Hyatt which was what we had initially setup when we booked 3 cancelled and re-scheduled cruises ago...ºoº

Thanks. I know I’ll feel better if I actually call to confirm the info. I just dread the long hold time on the phone.

I don’t think it is worth the hold time to call just to double check. You can see you paid for transfers so they are not going to strand you. When you get to your hotel ask at the front desk and they can look it up for you and print you a copy of your transfer info—they did that for me on our October cruise this year at the Poly.

Good idea! I hadn’t thought about checking at the hotel when we arrive. Much more time efficient.
