Pickle part III

No kidding. I'm going to crawl in bed. I have a wisdom tooth that is impacted and hurting right now. Need to go swoosh some whiskey and turn in. :) Yak tomorrow. ♥

Ouch....hope something helps and you get a good rest. Nighty night! Don't let the bedbugs bite. ;)

Ouch Tracy!!!

I had a trash mouth today, and am wasshing it out with rum.

Night, Pickles!!!

My youngest brother Bob is off the ventilator. He had two procedures done today; there is no blood clot or tumors on/near his heart. His heartbeat is around 93 right now. He still has heart disease and will more than likely have to take medicine for the rest of his life; but hey are working on getting him stronger. Thank you for all of the love and prayers the last several days. You have been my saving grace.

Oh Christineeeeeeeeeeeee... :rolleyes1

I thought about lining them all up, but decided it might just do you in, and well, that wouldn't be good. heh

That's my strawberry rhubarb candle from Partylite. I can't bring myself to burn it. My favourite scent in the world, besides their honeydew. I'm burning my spiced apple jar from Yankee right now. Smells so crisp. Reminds me of my gramma's apple pies. :cloud9:

I read this on Facebook. So very glad to hear this. One day at a time, right? :) So happy for you!

Kathy, I saw your update on your FB. That is good news. I'm praying for continued improvement.

Tracy, that is the perfect breakfast! Plenty of calcium!

Have a great Thursday, Pickles!

Good Thursday morning to all of my Pickles. The sun is shining here...on top of all the darn snow we got again. I am officially, for the zillionth time, sick of winter and snow. Of course, no one was home last night (Mark's in Vegas and Andy was at school until 10:30) so I was the one who had to shovel AGAIN!

My mother is going to the hospital today with my other brother to see Bob and mom will spend the day there and I'll pick her up on my way home from work.

Tracy, I LOVE Partylite. I have candle holders throughout my house (my dad used to tell me that I had no more room for anything on my walls or tables). Honeydew is one of my favorites as well (I also love the Ocean Mist).

Christine, that is one big Three Musketeers. Perhaps you should just take a little bite and then put it away and then come back for another bite and another and another. Did we bourbon our hair last night? :lmao:

Heather, any special plans this weekend. It is almost the weekend, isn't it?

Mmm, ocean mist is nice too. Ha. You think you've got candles and holders all over the place? LOL. I've burned through many candles and nothing beats a PartyLite in my opinion. And, I'm not just saying that because I'm a consultant. :) They burn clean, retain their scent for years and burn evenly. I'm burning a Yankee jar right now and all it's doing is burning down the middle. What a waste of wax. It smells delish though! I love candles. I burn them every day. So yeah, I have just a "few" holders kicking around. :rotfl2:

That was a big 3 Musketeers, wasn't it. Okay, that was cruel of me, eh? Muahahahaha!

Ocean Mist - sounds like it would be favorite of mine for sure. I have to try those candles, if I can find them around here.I know you told me about them last year, Trac, but I never got around to looking for them. Definitely have time this week!!

Best I've found that has loads of oil, but not enough scents is.......uh................uh...for gosh sakes, the name will not come to me! YC is nothin' but wax - where do they hide the oil in those candles anyway?

Mia and I love candles too, but not as many around with the peanut. She keeps one in her office everyday, I have at least 2 in my room and several downstairs.

Gee, I miss having my own place. No complaints though - I am blessed.

Can you believe I have not heard my angel baby Sophia's voice since Sunday? And only ONE cell phone pic!!

Christine, search for Partylite online. You can now purchase candles online (I do it all the time). I am a big fan of the tealights and votives (I always mess up my 3-wicks).

Before you know, baby Sophia will be back in your arms.

Trac, I didn't realize you were a consultant. The gal who has been doing my home parties for the last 15+ years keeps trying to get me to do it...but I'm not good standing in front of large crowds and talking (she has done numerous cruises because of the high volume of her sales).

Ebay has PartyLite candles out the wazoo. Yes, Kat, I am a consultant but inactive right now. I do mostly book parties. Most prefer those instead of house parties. I was also a Mary Kay consultant. Got out of that though because, once again, couldn't compete with Ebay. Women didn't care if the product was fresh or not, they just wanted to save that extra couple of bucks. It's a dog eat dog world out there. Was great spening money though.

Three wicks are hard to burn. I hug the sides so they burn down the middle and it creates a luminary effect. I did that with my honeydew one. It was mostly gone by the time I was done burning it. Love honeydew and so disappointed they discontinued them in the aromamelts. :( That's one of their stongest burning scent. My favourite line is the GardenLites and Ye Olde World village. I have it all! Good thing Mark loves them just as much as I do.

Sigh. Now I want to place a consultant order!!! Should probably burn the stuff I have first, though.

Found the website. :) It doesn't have any info about the amount of oil they use each candle - maybe I missed it? Trac, bet that's something you could tell me. Gee, too bad you are in Canada (or we are in the US lol) or we could buy from you. Shoot.

Boy...you taught me lots of new stuff today. 1) didn't know they sold the candles on ebay nor did I know they sold MaryKay on ebay (I only use MaryKay products).

I can't answer about the oil...but I bet Tracy can too.

Okay, I have got to get some work done today. I'll check in you girls later. Save some Musketeers for me. :rotfl2:

Get out! I use only Mary Kay too. (classic skin care line #2) If you do order off Ebay (I do it myself - lol) ask the seller what the expiry code is. This tells you what day, month and year the product was made. I can decipher it for you. Generally, their products are good for 2 - 3 years. But beware, some of the stuff they sell on Ebay is 10 years old or more. ACK!!

I just looked at the Partylite consultant portal, as I don't know how much oil is used in the different products, and I couldn't find anything. (just wax and wick info) I will look around some more.

Hi Pickles...busy work day today, but trying to keep up here.

They just announced an early dismissal for my kids today, which is what I expected...this way they don't burn a snow day.
