When you read an article like this you wonder if the author has ever visited Disney.

Disney Digs Best Suited for the Fam: Disney Animal Kingdom Lodge

Disney Digs Where College Kids Can Find Some Fun: Disney Boardwalk Villas

Disney Digs For Couples with Romance on the Mind: Disney Port Orleans Resort – Riverside

Disney Digs Perfect for a Girls’ Getaway: Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa

While I don't agree with any of their choices for these categories (except for the GF), at least they explain why they made the choices they did, and those explanations made sense as far as they went. But I think it was a very superficial look, and ignored a lot of basics- especially cost (for students and families with young children). Hopefully anyone who reads that article will do a bit more research before planning a WDW vacation.

Wow. Yeah, none of those make sense to me. Maybe AKL, but only because I have never been there, even to visit. I see GF as the romance, BW as the girls weekend, and POP for college kids.

Interesting picks. I do think AKL is wonderful for families, but I also think it could be on the most romantic for couples category. POR doesn't seem like most romantic seeing as though you can't even keep your window blinds open because people can look in. :p I can't afford BC now and I've been out of college for years so Im jealous of any college kids who can stay there! ;) I will say I stayed at GF for a Bachelorette Party and it was absolutely fantastic. I agree with that one :)

The only one that REALLY blows my mind is BC Villas for college kids! Seriously?? What college kid can really afford to stay there, unless their parents are well-off? Completely unrealistic. Not only cost, but the resort itself is not what I would call a "party" atmosphere. Yes, it's near the BoardWalk amenities but it's a fairly quiet, family resort from what I can tell (admittedly I've never stayed there). If I were a family spending money to stay at BC Villas (or a DVC member for that matter), I'd be pretty annoyed if I were next door to a bunch of college kids "piled into the room" and partying it up!

Personally I find it hard to take anything from Fox News seriously :rotfl2:

It reads like it was written by someone who scanned a few guides, then morphed/modified ;) what they thought they read, and ta-da! "Expert" Disney Resort Information!:rotfl2::rotfl2:

Actually they said BW not BC for college kids which is probably related to its proximity to ESPN and Jelly Rolls.

I also find this hard to believe as well.

Best suited for the family; I would have thought one of the monorail resorts; not one that is the most remote.

For college kids, I would have expected Pop Century. Affordable and theming.

Romance on the mind, I would have picked the smaller, quainter POFQ.

And for a girls get-away, I would have picked the BW/YC/BC loop, any one of those would be more my speed.
