Hi, I have been looking at many other threads about picking up park tickets early.

I understand that you can collect your tickets 3 days before your package starts, but we will be staying in florida for a week and a half before our package starts and was wondering if there is anyway of getting our tickets early so we can use a week of our tickets before the disney hotel stay.
(our tickets are for two weeks but we are only staying 8 nights in disney).

So family villa from 3rd june till 15th and then 15th till 23rd in disney hotel.

I was wondering if I could book 1 nights hotel only stay at the begining of my holiday (3rd) in the cheapest disney hotel and if they will add this to my booking meaning I might be able to pick up my tickets then. Does anyone know if this would work or have an experience with doing this.

Thanks and hopefully someone might come back with good news, as we cannot change our trip around.

Theme parks and strategies board.

Sticky at the top of the board :re tickets.

Yes, but you have to pick them up at guest relations at a park OR DTD.

But it is a three day limit.

Do you need a package; then you could pay for tickets separately?

I can understand wanting the savings by buying all your tickets as part of the package, but its been my experience that those tickets go exclusively with that package, especially where the two ressies (the one on the third and the other original package) would be seperated that far apart.

In my limited knowledge, my suggestion would be downgrade tickets on your package to however many you are going to need during your stay and just buy seperate tickets for your time outside the resort.

Good Luck.

That won't work - 3 days is the limit.

It's a NO. As the pp indicated, you can only pick up package tickets 1 to 3 days early - that's it, definitley not a week early.

Thanks for the replies. I was hoping someone would say differently but thought that might be the case.
I have booked the package with tickets and free dining on the uk site so it had worked out pretty good value, if i break it all up I won't get the free dining, but I won't be able to use all of our days at the parks if we keep it as it is.

It's such a shame disney just won't allow you to pick up the ticket part of your package earlier than 3 days. If you've paid for your tickets you should be able to get them whenever you need them for.

I had hoped adding a night at the very begining of my holiday would resolve this problem, but it seems not.

Think my only options are either to change my dates and try and do disney first or cancel my booking altogether with disney and book each part seperately meaning I won't be able to stay at disney :sad1:

Thanks for your replies though and if anyone else has any other suggestions please let me know.

Actually this is usually super expensive. For a "long" vacation each person should use only one Disney ticket card for theme parks, when you need 10 or fewer days and the first and last day fit in a 14 day time span.

If you have a package starting many days into your overall stay in Florida you are probably better off going to Universal or Sea World etc. in the days prior to your package.

Why not do annual passes might be cheaper.
