Oh that's my favorite color of the Barbie cars! (My dd calls them Barbie cars since Barbie has a VW, you know.) I love that color. May the "birds not poop in your car" as my dd also says when she sees the Barbie convertibles!

Picked it up around 3:30, and finally just put the top up and parked it in the driveway for the night. I kept finding excuses to go out: got take-out food, needed ice cream, had to take the neighbors for a ride, etc.... lol. I didn't realize how late it had gotten and by the time I got settled the sun was already setting, so I will have to get some pictures taken tomorrow and have Jason help me upload them on to the site. What a great ride though!!!! I loved the feeling of the wind in my hair, the music blasting, and enjoying the scenery.

Ok so the weather has still been crappy, rainy, and cloudy, so I haven't been able to get any decent pictures. I think the weather report called for sun tomorrow so we shall see. In the mean time I found a picture of my car on a Beetle forum, it is the same color as mine and the only difference is that I have black leather interior as opposed to the tan. So as soon as I get some ncie weather, actual pics will follow. Beetle Convertible pic

Congratulations! What have you named your car(all real Beetle owners name their cars-so says my son). We have 2 in our family, Mojave and Doombuggy. In our area, we have the DFW New Beetle Club. They are having a show this weekend-DFW New Beetle Round-up. You may have also found the website newbeetle.org. My DS is very involved in both and has done a lot of work on old and New Beetles.

It should be fun for you to watch how many "punch buggies" you inspire while you're in your car. My kids find every beetle around so they can play that game.

From one Beetle owner to another, ENJOY the ride! They are the MOST fun cars to drive, and I love the reactions I STILL get to mine, and I've had mine 3 years!
