Picking up Luau tickets

You can tell my trip is only a few weeks away - I have a million ?'s. Anyway, we have ressies for the luau. I know I go to guest relations at my resort (AKL) to pick up the tickets, but can I pay for them then, or do they add them on to my resort room. As I mentioned on another thread, I have a bunch of Disney Visa certificates that I have to use (and sign each and every one when I do use them, LOL!) and thought this might be a good time to use them.

you can pay for them or have it added to the resort bill. it 's up to you. enjoy! :tongue:

Thanks! We are planning on the 5:15 show, then down to the beach at the Poly to watch Wishes which goes off at 7:30. It will be the last night of our trip - hopefully we can pull it off!

I'm going to the Luau in February and we are staying offsite. I was told to pick up tickets at Guest Services. Where is that located? Do I pick up the tickets right before the show or earlier in the day (we'll be at MK that entire day)?

I would call Disney dining. I bet they mean guest services at the Polynesian, but I don't know!

One time I checked in our resort and tried to pick up my Luau tickets. The person checking me in told me to wait until later in the week because once I pick them up I can't cancel so I waited and then forgot to pick them up. On the monorail over to the Poly, I realized I didn't have the tickets so i stopped at the Guest Services desk at the Poly and was able to pick them up there.

I should be able to pick up my tickets at the Disney hotel once I check, two days before the event.

This is the second time I will be attending the luau, the first since 10/1982. It is the only luau I've been to where Kalua Pig is not served.

If any of you have been to Hawaii and went to a luau there, you'd probably had the Kalua Pig. If not, I have a very simple recipe where a crockpot comes in handy.
