Picking up guest at another resort

Traveling with a person staying at the Contemporary and he will have a break down scooter, I will have the rental car and am staying at Riverside. How can I get through security each day to pick him up? He does not want to do Disney Transportation. We will park in handicap parking at all the parks except MK - will take the walkway there. Either I will Uber to the Contemporary or valet park on MK day. What do I tell the security guard so that I can get I and pick him up?

You shouldn't have a problem just telling the guard at the booth that you're picking up a guest, but it wouldn't hurt to make sure you have their room number in case they ask for guest info. But given that there are always taxis/Ubers/Lyfts coming to get people, it really shouldn't be an issue.

I agree that you should be able to give the guard his name and room number, and be prepared to show your photo ID as well. And on MK day, tell them you’re going to valet park. You shouldn’t have a problem.

Save yourself guard agravation, have the guest staying at the contemporary get 2 room cards or just 1 if they don't want one. Keep one of those key cards in your vehicle and just use the keycard entrence(lane next to the guard entrance) to raise the gate. A couple of benefits, you get to bypass the main line if there is a wait, 2nd bonus you don't have to deal with the guard.
