We will be traveling from London to Paris sometime around the 29th or 30th of June, and then will be in and around Paris for a week or so, leaving perhaps on the 7th to head back to the states (I'm buying tickets tomorrow, which is why our dates are vague). Two adults and my 17 year old daughter. I'd like to visit the parks for two full days at least. Not super picky about hotel but we won't have a car.

The flash sale on the french site is appealing-but is 779 euros for July 4-7 at Newport Bay a good deal? 972 for New York? Which hotel would you suggest that hits the sweet spot with price and quality?

And when that week would be best to go?

they both are lovely but keep in mind there is refurbishment going on at the moment at the Newport Bay and the pool will be closed...

it depends what you want really - the newport bay club should be fine as long as you understand its going through a refurb and you won't be able to use the swimming pool etc.

i'd have suggested the sequoia lodge instead usually but it doesn't seem to be included in the flash sale on any of your proposed dates.

eta - the best price for you is definitely checking in on Friday 4th July - but that means you'll be in the parks on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday - traditionally much much busier than weekdays at DLP. If you can find a price which is maybe slightly more, but involves you checking in earlier in the week, I'd go for that, it will be a much more pleasant park experience.

Thank you so much for the great answers, guys. Any feedback re the New York? I haven't seen much about that one. How about the Cheyenne?

I haven't personally stayed in the HNY but there are lots of people on here who really love the hotel.

We didn't enjoy our stay in the Cheyenne as much as we have enjoyed staying elsewhere but again there are plenty of people who love it. I think it is wonderfully themed, but wasn't really a theme that our daughters appreciated. We found breakfast to be a bit of a scrum (even though we went early) because you have to find your own table. At the more expensive hotels the staff show you to a table before you get your food, so although you will have to queue to get in you are guaranteed you will have somewhere to sit once you have your food. Some people prefer the Cheyenne because the rooms have bunk beds instead of a 2nd double bed which works better for some families.
