Picking a room with Murphy bed on Fantasy?

so some say sleep 3-4 and some say 3-5
but if it's a room that sleeps 3-5...and queen bed, sofa and pull down..where is the 5th person? if it doesn't list murphy?

If it doesn't list a murphy, the room doesn't sleep 5. If you enter 5 guests in your search you will only be offered rooms with a bed for the 5th person.

We were on the Fantasy last April, Room 9008 Front. The murphy bed was in the wall as the picture posted above. We had an adjoining room with friends and it was the same setup. It was our first cruise, you could feel the waves chopping when moving along with the empty coat hangers clanging back and fourth.

We booked for the Destiny but as a mid ship for spring of 2026.

Ahh thank you! I’m definitely looking for midship and I’ve also heard that you can feel it more on higher decks, so I was also thinking about deck 7.

We've done well on deck 8, I had to call in to book our first cruise (back when booking with Disney Visa gave you OBC) and the rep I spoke with picked our room for us. I won't book lower than 7 because I get claustrophobic thinking of how many decks are above me.

I always wrap empty hangers in a towel and put them in the bottom of the closet to stop any clanging.
