Pick your favorite Table Service

So my family we be taking our 1st trip to Disney in a little more than 2 months. We have Quick Service Dining but we would like to have 1 table service, preferably dinner. So my question is if you had to pick just 1 table service where would you go and why?

I'd have to pick Ohana.

It is such good food. The Hawaiian bread is so so good & I love the salad & other items but especially love all those meats they bring out to your table. Also, the bread pudding dessert is yummy! We totally love the food!

The place is fun & relaxing to me to eat at. It is a neat place to go & I enjoy watching the kiddos playing the games around the restaurant & the singing they do.

I also like that you can hop the monorail from Magic to get there & that makes it an easy resort to go too.

My advice to you is to see where and when you can get an open reservation on the day you want

Your going to get lots of opinions.

When working with my clients -- I ask lots of questions about their favorite restaurant, food and why............also, any dietary restrictions or allergies or simply dislikes food............

After that I tend to rule out restaurants first and look at what is left.

Okay that's my cycle of recommending restaurants. For a specific answer to your question if we could go only to one restaurant, availability and schedule not being an issue it would be Le Cellier

Are there children in you family? Are you looking for character dining? If so, I would suggest Chef Mickey for all the basic characters and fun for kids. For a table service without characters, Iwould sugest Le Cellier

I would second O'Hana. GREAT food. We ate breakfast at Chef Mickey's and it was good so I would think dinner would be just as good.

Crystal Palace or Coral Reef

There are lots of good TS places - not spectacular, but good. If you want a unique experience choose a character meal - Ohanas is good, but again, not spectacular. Our favorite non-signatures are San Angel - because of the atmosphere, Coral Reef - because of the acquarium - Biergarten because of the entertainment and R&C, just because - well the beer is good.

I feel like 'Ohana is the best famiy experience on property. The food is what I remember most though! The hawaiin bread and the bread pudding dessert was probably some of the best food I've ever had! Unfortunately, I was unable to snag a dinner reservation for my coming trip. We were able to get one for breakfast, but I am feeling so sad about not snagging a ressie for dinner. Man!

I think Chef Mickey is a great place to take kids. It's a buffet so usually everyone can find something they like, softdrinks & desserts are included. Plus there's the great line up of characters including Mickey Mouse & they interact with the guests doing the napkin twirll and visit tables for pictures.

You don't have to spend time in the park visiting the characters, they come to you. Same for Crystal Palace in MK if you prefer Pooh & friends, nice buffet, softdrinks & desserts plus it's convenient to go to touring MK.

More of a dining experience I'd go with LeCellier or Chefs Le France in EPCOT. For fun try Biergarten if you like German food. Several here suggested Ohanas, if you go later then you could see the MK fireworks possibly from inside or on the beach.

ANd then there's the Hoop De Doo review, which is a dinner show that is a lot of big fun for families. Really, there's so much to choose from but it will depend upon what is available when you choose to dine. Have fun!

I would check for what's available, but for inside the parks-Crystal Palace. Outside the parks-Ohana.

For restaurants that seat many, so may still have openings at 2 months out:

My first choice character meal (breakfast) with small children is CP, with pre-teens is 1900PF.

Our first choice lunch/dinner would be Coral Reef at EP. Second choice would be Biergarten.

With them arriving in the next two months chances are not very good they are going to get a seat at Le'Cellier, even in September. Never hurts for them to try, but not likely.

To the op. There are many good table serve restaurants, but you are going to get so many different recommendations. My personal favorites are (not in any order) Ohana, Whispering Canyon Cafe, Biergarten, Coral Reef, Teppan Edo, and Boma. That is six restaurants and Le'Cellier is not even in that top list for me. Someone else will shoot off a list and Le'Cellier may be at the top and none of my favorites are theirs.

I say look over the restaurants and their menus and go with the restaurant and theme that you are personally interested in. If I based my decisions just off of opinion I would have never eaten at Coral Reef, Ohana, or WCC, all get mixed reviews. By the way, these three are on my adr schedule in 3 weeks.

Either way, I'm sure wherever you choose you will be happy.
