Pick up Visa Dream Rewards at the Park?

I just saw on the Disney Visa website that you can pick up your Dream Dollars on site. Has anyone ever done this and how was the experience? Did you have to pre-arrange this, or did you just do it once you were there? I wasn't sure where to ask this question, but since you are all so financially savvy, I imagine someone will have an answer!

I do this all the time. Just go to Guest Relations with your Visa card and driver's license and they'll give you a new card. You then have to call the number given with the new rewards card to activate it.

I always order the card well in advance of my trip and then call to add the rewards dollars once I'm there.

If you forget or don't have enough time before your trip to get the card in the mail then getting a card at Guest Relations is a great option, but I would rather not stand in line and waste vacation time unless I needed to.

And don't toss the card away once you have it. I had one issued last Spring and kept it in a drawer - I was able to reload it with points for a trip at the end of this month. You'll see an expiration date on the card - it is good to reload with future points until that date.

Within the past year, there is no more expiration date on the Redemption Cards...keep that card and reload as often as you want.
