.... DGD is crawling! She has been teasing us with her ambulatory skills for a month and, suddenly last night she took off.
She discovered that there is a great place (just her size) behind Grandpa's chair. She discovered that Grandma can run really, really fast and beat her to the computer wires. (They are now out of reach.) She discovered that she can get to Mom whenever she wants to!!!
Actually, it was quite cute to watch her gleefully discover new worlds and new toys. She loved the rings on the end table leg.
Now we have to help her 10 yr old uncle to keep his Legos, Yu-Gi-Oh cards, and juggling clubs out of reach. (DS is in an amateur circus and juggling is one of his specialties.) Those clubs in the hands of a 9-month old could be quite painful on my shin..........
(P.S. Thank you Deb in IA for your recent post on child safety. My DS was in stitches watching my DD and me crawl around on our knees, looking for problem spots!)
