I haven't been to Disney in almost 7 years and it was in December and very very cold that year. We have also gone one other time which was in September about 11 years ago, crowds were great walk on to most rides but the humidity was terrible. We are also planning two days at Universal for this trip.

Option #1 April 23-29, thinking this is far enough away from Easter (16th)
Option #2 April 30-May 6
Option #3 May 7-13

Option 3 is the best choice. Option 2 is good, too. Option 1 will be the most busy.

Option 2 & 3 are the weeks we have always gone, and they are awesome. Low crowds and great weather. The crowds themselves will probably be about the same, as I've agonized between the same two weeks myself in prior years. Go whenever flights are cheapest

Keep in mind that low crowds now is a lot different than low crowds were 7 or 11 years ago, but I hope you have an awesome trip!

option 1 is the day after the star wars marathon and the start of multiple different cheerleading and dance competitions at espn (values will be sold out, mods will be close and it'll be lots of on their own no parent school aged kids at disney).

option 2 the competitions finish the same time this would end meaning more teams with more time to tour the parks.

option 3 sounds good unless pandora opens just after you come and you really want to see that (I'm assuming around nov 20th we might know the date it's opening or at least the season it's going to open and if there is no news, it's a fall opening at the end of the year). if i does open just after and you don't care, should be a quiet week with everyone waiting for pandora to visit.
