Pick 2 places to eat

I will be at US & IOA with my son's band as a chaperone. We are only doing 1 day at both and will have meal vouchers. Having not been to either park or done much research I'm not familiar with eating options. Since we probably won't be going again any time soon and I enjoy lots of different food I'd like to take advantage of trying "not the same old thing" if that makes sense. Where would you recommend?

So, you are just at IOA at Universal? If so, I would do Mythos.

If HS is referring to Universal Studios, I would eat at Leaky Cauldron there.

I love Mythos, definitely recommend. If a sit-down restaurant with a server won't work, I recommend The Three Broomsticks and the Crescent Moon Bakery in IOA. In Studios, there are a lot of really great places. There are restaurants in Springfield USA, there's the Monster Cafe, and then like Damo said, The Leaky Cauldron.

If you are set on using the "meal vouchures" you were given to dine i would look into what exact places the meal voucher includes.

My friend purchased some sort of dining plan from Universal a couple years ago and i guess didnt read the fine print as the dining only included the fast food type stands that were all similar and disappointing.
