Piano playing kid

DD was given her next recital piece last week to learn for febuary recital. She played in the may recital after only 16 lessons, now she has learned this piece in a week, almost has it down. She just asked me if I thought she could learn o play rock and roll on the piano. She was just introduced to Jerry Lee Lewis' music last week. Her response " That guy cannot sing. I wish he would shut up and let me hear the piano" any suggestions for an easy to learn or play rock piece for a 12 yr old that is learning faster than teacher can keep up with? Also some good piano pieces for her tolisten to that will show her piano in rock music. We already started her listening to journey and Skynyrd

Most music stores sell easy piano versions of all the latest hits.
I remember listening to the piano in Billy Joel, Supertramp. Alicia Keys has a lot of piano in her music.

smacks his head,, could not remember billy joel,,lol,, was goingto get her an elton john cd tommorrow,, but now i think i'll go with billy instead and yeah we saw the books at the store, not sure shes ready yet, but we may let h er pick out one to inspire her. we dont wawnt to get anything too advanced and discourage her.
