Physical Ticket question

This is our first time at Universal. I will be printing out our tickets for the park. Will we get anything else or do we just use the printouts?
What about Express Passes? Would it be better to pick them up at the kiosk in our hotel? We are staying at Cabana Bay.

You will just use the printed ticket.

As for the EPs, you will get those in the park.

Depending on how many are in your party, you may be better off (less expensive) staying and a premium hotel, as EPs are included in the price of a stay...

Ooof, those printed tickets are a pain to get into the lanyards I've heard. May want to pick them up or have them converted into the smaller sized tickets at guest services.

I've heard you can get the paper ticket exchanged at the hotel for a real ticket that is smaller. We are staying at RPR so we can get the express passes at the hotel.

If you haven't already purchased your tickets, see if you can buy them with WillCall pickup. That means you'll get proper tickets that will actually fit in your lanyard pouch.
