Physical Therapy Question.....

Please don't laugh at this.

Many of you know that I have been having problems with my neck and they are sending me to physical therapy tomorrow. Well, when I went to the doctor, I wore blue jeans shorts and a Disney T-shirt. (casual office everytime I am there)

What on earth do I wear to phycial therapy? Do I have to wear nice clothes or can I go in my Disney wear?

Wear whatever is comfy and your able to move freely in. Disney wear sounds good to me.

I am a physical therapist. It has been awhile since I worked in a private office. When I did, and was treating a patient's neck, I would have them disrobe on top and pin a towel around under their armpits. (for a woman) The therapist needs to be able to get to your skin for the modalities. I didn't care what people wore as long as they were clean. And if you have long hair, you will want to be able to pull it up off your neck.

I used to work in a P.T. office & if the patient was having their neck worked on, they either did exercises in their casual (tee shirt) clothes, or the P.T. would have the patient put on a gown for a message or other modalities. Wear comfy clothes & as Breezy_Carol posted, wear your hair up or in a pony tail.

I sure hope you get some relief!
