Never heard it referred to by that name before, but I have heard of the issue. I don’t have any attic (raised ceilings) or crawl space in my house. If someone was in here, I would hear and see them.

There is no way a stranger could be living in my house. My dogs would let me know.

My house is way too small for this to happen to me. My attic is unfinished with no flooring aside from a few planks I use to help get around up there if needed, and there are no stairs so you have to use a ladder. There are three bedrooms, and the rest of it is a relatively open floorplan. I doubt anyone could be that sneaky unless they were like a ninja or something. Even then, I think the cat would know, and she'd definitely tell me.

Oh, I'm sure this is the case!

I raise it as there's a series on the boob tube about it - about 20 cases. Some are a bit freaky.

I have heard of this happening, thankfully never experienced it. I remember watching that movie Parasite a few years ago, it was surprisingly good.
