Photoshop

So I'm thinking about getting a photoshop program.
But I dont know which one =/
Anyone have any suggestions?

My friend told me to get this one: adobe photoshop cs3.
Is it good?

The GIMP will work fine for you. CS3 is a couple hundred dollars. Of course if you don't plan on getting it legally get CS3.

I'm not real picky as far as photoshop goes. So I couldn't really tell you what you should and shouldn't buy.
I personally prefer Adobe products, as they are easier for me to use.
I have Photoshop Elements 2.0 (yes it's ridiculously old) and it works fine for me. I can do a lot of the same things that everyone else can do with it. I've learned to do things with it. You can buy the newest version of Photoshop Elements for like.. $100?

But buy whatever you want and whatever works best for you, and whatever budget you're working with.

It really depends on what you're willing to spend. Unless you borrow CS3 from a friend, it'll cost you a lot. (Adobe website says $649)
Price behind, the program is extremely good; you can do anything. Photoshopping is fun. x]

I have photoshop cs2

It works amazingly...

I have no idea how much it cost...my dad gave it to me...

But i do all my stuff on there


i have a friend who has paint shop pro(i think) and that was wayyyy easier and did the same stuff...

im on cs2 and its pretty sweet.... cs3 is the newest and the best though... but what are your purposes? if its just to make sigs or something, id just go with elements.. its cheap but its good for small stuff like that

i use Gimp, it works just as good as photoshop once u learn how to use it
