Who here uses photoshop?

I really want it, but it cost atleast $600!!! which is way too much i think.

How did you get it? I'm thinking about downloading it off limewire. I know it is extremly bad to download illeagly, but i think 600 dollars is WAY too much to buy software.

I have it. I usually just use it to edit colours/contrast, or add effects and stuff.
That's all I really know how to do :guilty:

No idea how I got it.
I'm sure my dad must've downloaded it because I can honestly say he would NOT pay 600$ for a photo editing program.

My friend has paintshop pro and sent me a 30 day trial---that one is WAYYYYY better.
SO if you're going to get one, I suggest paint shop pro, it's easier to use and has wayyy cooler effects!!

I have it and I bought it legally. Check Ebay. it should be listed for about thirty dollars on there.

I am currently on day 1000 or something of the thirty day trial. when I downloaded it it turns out that they didn't wear out.

PSP was never my favorite. I have used and owned many many graphics programs and photoshop is my favorite out of all of them.

I hate Paintshop Pro with the passion. I have JASC, and I refuse to use it. It's hard to edit the text, and it's just so evil, plus most brushes are made in ABR format, and PSP needs JBR format.
I use Photoshop Elements though I have 7.0, it's just I can't seem to get some stuff to work on 7.0. Photoshop Elements is about 60-100$ and it's very easy to use, and you get good works. People always tell me I'm very talented with Photoshop (though I don't think I am) and I'm not using anything spiffy.

If your a student and dont mind paying 289.99 for photoshop cs2 you can get it from an online store that has discounts for students.

I personally got my copy of photoshop that way, and I love it.

I bought the student version of photoshop CS2. it was like 400 dollars or something, I use it for everything, making websites, myspace backgrounds, editing pictures, computer art..etc.. So it was worth the bucks for me.

I have Photoshop and love it! I got it through my uncle who works with computers and such so he got it free from work.

I got Photoshop Elements (dunno which version) free with my graphics tablet (that cost about $100)... It's useful for some things, but even in this limited version I can barely crack the surface of it's potential.

On the other hand, there's a program called Serif PhotoPlus which has essentially all the same tools, yet in a far more accessable format. It also doesn't take up near as much space and comes up fast - unlike Photoshop/Photoshop Elements, which always take a LOOONG time to load on my computer.

Origonally, I downloaded PhotoPlus free. I think it was v. 2.0 or something. The most recent version, or at least the most recent version I have, is 8.0. MANY improvements have been made.
