Photoshop Help

Ok, I am not very good with Photoshop, but we are going on the first Star Wars cruise and are participating in our FE. I have an idea for what I want to do. I thought it would be cool to take and change Scorer Mickey on the front of the ship to a Jedi Mickey.




As you can see below, I have tried to do my own version, but it has lots of issues. As I said, I am not very good with photoshop and I am hoping someone here is able and willing to either help me clean this up or make a better version.

I ultimately want this to be as high of a resolution as possible, as I want to be able to make this into something for FE gifts.

If this is not the right place to post a request such as this, I apologize, looking through the rules it appears to be ok to do so. Just please, if you are willing and able to do help me out, let me know by either posting on here or sending me a PM so that I can post on here that someone is working on it, that way more than one person doesn't end up spending their very valuable time.

@cmwade77 , nice idea! I downloaded your psd for a peek and I reckon if you used a colouring page Jedi Mickey like this one it would look pretty like the current style. You could even keep the existing stars that are on the prow. I would be happy to do it for you if you like or would you prefer to give it a go first? I'll use your psd as it is nice and high res OR did you want to go for a non-cutout image like the one you are working on? Let me know if you;d like me to work on it or indeed if someone else has already offered

most people who DISign here use a graphics package other than the full-blown Photoshop. Good luck though.... a brilliant idea!

Please, go for it, no one else has yet. I know I am not skilled enough to do this myself. The pad file actually has layers, if you turn off the jedi mickey layer or remove it, the original ship image will be there.

Really, I do greatly appreciate it.

Same here, with various jobs throughout the ages I always seem to be using photoshop so I've been very fortunate to learn lots about it over the years I should have something for you tomorrow, cross your fingers!

But that can make it hard to figure out who you are responding to, especially if there have been multiple posters since you last posted.

These are thumbnails - click on them to go to photoshop then click on download to get the full size file.

These are stored in my temporary files section so will be deleted after 2 weeks. Actually, if you are happy with them, you can download them and let me know then I can delete them sooner so none of your fish extender friends spot them by accident

The files are the same dimensions as your psd, they are png files - I have left the top corners transparent as you had - I just tidied the edges of the ship a little but otherwise haven't done anything to the ship itself.

And of course if they are not what you were hoping for then I won't be offended, I enjoyed the challenge
