I've taken lots of my grandson over the past 8 months & will get quite a few printed ready to use for scrapbooking.

Was just wondering how many of us get there photo's printed now & place them in a photo album like we used too.
Now we all use digital camera's.
Do you just put them on a disc & then forget about it .

I definately print mine out. We have lots of holiday snaps covering the walls of our dining room, living room and hall way. We have also bought photo albums from the Disney store at DTD and filled these.
I think digital is the way to go though, as even if you don't print them you can use them as screen savers, slideshows or in digital photo frames :thumbsup2

I do a mixture of both really.

I put some from each trip on my digital photo frame in the lounge but I always buy a photo album with the year on the cover & I get however many it holds of my favourite pics printed.

I also print extras off for my scrapbooks, although I am so far behind on them! :rolleyes1

If it is a photo I really like I like to print it and frame it or put in a album. I have a box full of photos from years ago that I have never put in a album and probably never will now. It takes a while to muddle through them but at least I know where they are.;)

Hi Jill

All my old photos are stored in photo albums with every photo having "Who, Where, When" on the back. I'm slowly making my way through them and putting them all in scrapbooks with more journaling to preserve the memories, and those basic details certainly help.

Unfortunately, now that all our photos are digital, they are lumped together in groups ie; "Florida holiday 06" without the little details. I always mean to go back and add details but there are so many photos it's always too daunting! I know they will be harder to scrapbook because of it.

I usually print off a batch when I am ready to scrapbook them. Other than that, they just stay on the computer, with the occasional favourite being printed for a frame.

I do a mixture, sometimes I print them and sometimes I don't. It depends on my mood really.

i havent printed pictures out of ashleigh since 2008. i have bought photo albums and i keep meaning to print them out but i forget about it.

what i do do with them is i make video slideshows and put them on a dvd. so i have ones for each year and i have ones for our disney trips as well.

at her birthday party every year i subject everyone to watching the dvd i spent hours upon hours making lol.

i did give a copy of her first year dvd to both her godparents and they loved it.

I get nearly all of mine printed and I scrap book a lot of our holiday pics, we also have them up all around the house, what with photos of the family - especially the kiddos and my cross stitched projects there actually isn't that much wall left in our house!

I make a point of every year doing a digital album - they are even better than sliding photos into albums as the photo is printed onto each page !! I love them and it means I will never lose a photo again !!

I like to get a batch printed each time i upload them.
I usually try to put them in an album but havent done that the past year-will get round to it at some point. :guilty:
I use them as screen savers on my computer, keep thinking about getting a digital frame too. :)

Dh keeps looking at the digital frames , so that could be the way forward as well.
Like most the old photo's are all in albums & florida snaps are always printed no matter how many there are :goodvibes,

We rarely get photos printed nowadays, I like to look at mine on the laptop, and I can't remember the last time I looked through one of my many albums

We bought a digital photo frame too, but I keep forgetting to plug it in ;)

I do the same as Claire :thumbsup2 and like Mandy I also forget to plug the digital frame in :rolleyes1
