I know when we go on our next trip - I will be taking tons of pictures...Since I know I will be exceeding the space on my memory card - is there a place I can go to transfer the pics to a disc and free up space?? If so, how much does it cost???

How does everyone else usually handle this???

If i may make a suggestion...
If you have a lap top I suggest you bring it along and transfer your photos to it each night...Im not exactly sure of the cost of this service at the parks but seeing how anything supply related (film, disposable cameras, batteries, video cassette tapes) are extremely expensive, I would assume that this service is pretty costly as well.

With the VERY low cost of memory cards today, (1 gig is most popular) I would say get a few more cards, less than the cost of transfers and no time consumed.

I used an ipod camera connector, and transfered my photos to my ipod every night. When I got home, and transfered my photos from my ipod to my computer, I had 3024 photos on there to transfer.

It is slow, but, I would just hook it up, then go to bed. I would recharge the ipod while I was at the park, and I had a spare camera battery, and would recharge the battery while I was at the park too. It worked out great.

I just picked up a 1 GIG SD card for my camera...in high quality picture I can easily get 750. It was at Costco today, and after rebate it'll only be 31 dollars!!

Info is from last year, but at that time, you can download your pics and have Disney burn on a CD for you at the camera centers in the parks. Ask at the gift shops (where they used to develop film) for exact locations and price these days :)

Personally, I have an iRiver MP3 player that can act as portable storage as well as a couple 1GB memory sticks. Amazon is also selling them for $32 w/no taxes and free shipping if you don't have a local Costco!
