Finally got my photos from Menorca on to the internet, so here are a few for you to have a look at.

This is me by the harbour in Cuitadella

Here I am again on the balcony of our apartment

Here's Andy stood by possibly the biggest gun known to man at the fortress we visited, La Mola

Andy again in Son Bou next to the sign for a basilica we visited (notice the sponsor!)

And finally us on our last night, me looking a little worse for wear!

How lovely :sunny:

We went to Menorca when DD was only 5 months old but I can honestly say I can't remember much of it except buying the traditional sandals, in Cuitadella, a typical 'Spanish Night', in the hotel, and singing nursery rhymes to Eve in an attempt to get her breakfast cereal down her (and loads of other hol makers commenting...................complaining..............? ) , and plenty of other holiday makers commenting that menorca was too quiet as they normally went to Tenerife............................... :confused3
Why go to Menorca (ie quiet) if you enjoy Tenerife( ie loads of night life?)

Think I must have been sleep deprived so sounds like a perfect reason to go back........................................ :rotfl2:

Lovely photos, looks like you had a great holiday :) We stayed in Son bou and have the exact same piture of the basilica :)

Lovely pics, does remind me, we had some fabulous holidays there, MUST go back soon.

Lovely photos. Looks like you had a nice time. I went to Menorca when I 10 I cant remember where we went I would recognise the place or area as soon as I looked at a brochure. It looks great.
:thumbsup2

Thank you all for taking the time to look at my photos. Yes, it was nice and sunny for the most part, certainly a lot better than the weather when we got home anyway!

Menorca really is a very peaceful and relaxing place, perfect if you want a getting away from everything break, but as Alison points out, some people wouldn't like it as it isn't very lively. There is one place we went for a look round, Cala n Forcat, which is the nightlife area - the most polite way I can describe it would be a dump. It's nickname is dirty Forcat, I'll let you imagine why.....Everywhere else is really nice though, and we have been round most of the island.

Michelle, remembered that you said you had stayed in Son Bou and I thought perhaps you would recognise the place!
