Photos for Borrowing

I am so thankful for you!!

My 4 year old daughter went on the Tower of Tower and then our camera was stolen and I lost those pictures. It is the one ride she still talks about (she was proud of herself) and I was wishing I had something from it!! Thanks so much!

I am going to make the picture of the hotel a 8x10 size and then scrapbook on top. (still have the photopass pictures and quarter pressed) That way I won't feel like I stole your picture but it is more a background paper. THANK you so much

Awesome pics! I did grab some of the signs! Thanks!!!! That is so nice of you.

bumping this back up....with a big thanks!
I borrowed signs from Dumbo, Splash, and It's a Small World! Thanks!
:disrocks: :thanks:

Your photos are beyond words. The FOTLK is our favorite show, and seeing those photos brings back wonderful memories. Since we have a "much less expensive camera" and no flash pix are hard to take, we have very few. Thanks for sharing and if I borrow any, I'll be sure to let you know.
I was wondering how I had missed this thread originally, but now realize I was not on the scrapbooking board then.

Mark, would you mind if I used your FOTLK sign for a scrapbook swap?

I was going to use it for a title piece.

Thanks.

I'm very sorry for the late reply to this. I was on vacation for most of August (See the pictures on my Smugmug site or the slideshow on my slideshow page). Not being a scrapbooker, I don't regularly check this forum.

Any of you can use my Disney pictures for any legal, tasteful use you want. I'm just an amateur photographer taking vacation pictures and having fun with it. If you have a use for the pictures, by all means enjoy them. It doesn't cost me anything. I still don't really understand what a swap is, but it sounds OK with me.

I would also caution you that not every photographer feels the same way. When someone takes a picture, they automatically have a copyright to that picture. Using it without their permission is illegal. Even some amateur shooters are very cautious about who can use their pictures when. You'll find lots of great pictures if you watch the Photography forums, but ask before you borrow any. Most of the people there are quite generous.

Remember that you can get the best picture by going to my Smugmug site and selecting the original size photo. You can also let me know what photo you want and how big you want to print it and I'll process one specifically for that use. Believe or not, there are different tweaks that you do to a picture depending on how big you are going to print it and what kind of printer you are going to use.

Great pics as usual Mark. I love the nature pictures from Canada. I would love to go to Banff some day.

Basically a swap is where there is a group of us, say 6, who make 6 of the same thing and then we trade so we each get 1 back from each person. It's all for our personal scrapbooks, nothing to sell or mass market.

I totally understand why not everyone is willing to share. I love sharing for our pictures, some of us at some point wish we had gotten a shot of something. We started a thread too for picture requests. It's titled "anyone have a picture of....."

Thanks for getting back to me!

wow. you have some amazing images. i'm trying my first ever scrapbook, and i think some of these will help. especially those showing the settings. ie, i have a lot of pictures of the kids on goofy's Barnstormer, but no picture of the sign, or the front of the coaster (what was i thinking?? it must have been all the deserts on the dining plan...)

thanks,
rob r

Thank you Mark for sharing your photos! They are awesome! I borrowed some of the pictures you took of the Winnie the Pooh, Snow White, Peter Pan rides as those were my kids favorite. Also the one of the Goofy's Barnstormer sign. I got a great picture of my daughter sitting in the front, but no picture of the sign. Thank you so much!! :)

Would you go to DL/DCA sometime? I need some good photos from there!:rotfl:

Your photos are great. Thanks for sharing them. I just got a Nikon D40 and am learning about it and lenses and what settings to use. It is a good starter camera for me and maybe in the future . . .

Thanks Mark,

I just started working on an AK scrapbook and realized that I had missed some pictures and it would be a bit sparse. I looked through your AK pictures and saw several I'd like to use. I'm thinking the easiest thing to order from smug mug - is that ok?

Your attention to detail is amazing....I went thru all your pics and I scrap-lifted some of the more detailed shots of signs and scenery and statues. I just finished my scrapbook from 2003 and am working on our trip in 2005, a scrapbook for my niece!

Your pictures are just beautiful. I can't wait to print them out. They will need no cropping at all- I love just thinking about printing out the size I will need.

You have much much thanks from a Disney addict here in West Virginia.

Hope you update your photo site soon with tons more pictures from great family vacations! Your family looks wonderful.

Thanks for sharing!:woohoo:

what wonderful pictures, Mark! You are my new "idol of the day"!!! Thank you for sharing your talent.

Mark, I borrowed a few of your fabulous signs! You are an amazing photographer, i only wish I could take half as good of pictures as you..they are amazingly clear. I am so jealous, I want your camera! Thank you for your generousity...my scrapbook and kiddies thank you for making the pics and layouts seem more complete!

Thanks for sharing! I borrowed pics of Fantasmic. Your camera (and eye) is much better than mine.

Beautiful work Mark. Thanks for sharing with us!!

OOooh...your pictures are fantastic. We just got back last night from WDW and it took me 3 cameras to get pictures - and a lot of them are just horrible. My first camera conked out in the morning of our second day and the Kodak shop did not have what we needed....so I was forced to buy a (akkk!!) disposable camera for the rest of the day. DH went to Walmart and Target at the end of the day and still could not get the right battery for my camera - so he ended up buying another (basic) digital camera...which I couldn't get the hang of right away.

So what I'm saying is...chances are very good right now that I'm going to be borrowing some of your pics. Thank you for sharing them, you have amazing talent.
