Here are the first few someone posted for us (on Facebook of all places!)

Crying Down the Aisle.... I cried through the vows at the rehearsal. I was so glad these were the only tears shed during the ceremony itself!

The new Mr. and Mrs!

Our "first dance." We took dance lessons and decided it would be nice to practice before we had to do it in front of everyone. Thank goodness we did becuase it was so hard to move with a 35 lb. train on my back end. I have no idea how he got the photo to look like this!

Tying the knot.... literally....

Lighting...or trying to light... the Unity candle! Our wick was maybe a quarter inch too short. We almost started laughing after we couldn't get the thing to light and kept trying to pull the candle away. If no one got an awesome shot of it, then they shouldn't be photographers!

First kiss! He'd been waiting to move that veil!

The cake is.....delicious! I love the action shot of us swallowing! :rotfl:

You look gorgeous...can't wait to see the disney pics!!!

Thank you! The only one I don't like is the one at the altar...something about holding the flowers that has my back looking terrible. I know I was standing up straight, too.... I am just hoping they aren't all like that!

xoxo

There are more pictures of it at: www.princessmo123.shutterfly.com

I think you have the sweetheart top but mine went straight across. You look absolutely exquisite. You must have stopped everyone in their tracks when they saw you! And if we do have the same or a similar dress, that train is extremely heavy, but worth it!

Thanks again and Congrats on what looks like a beautiful wedding day!

Congratulations Underthemistletoe. My name is Gillian too and I was also married on December 29th back in 1977. Hope you have as happy a marriage as I have had.

lovely photos by the way.

How cool!
My grandmother named me... and desparately wanted the English spelling of Gillian. My Dad is a first generation immigrant, so it was important to her. Unfortunately, my parents tested the water and came to realize it was goingf to be pronounced closer to the TV's "Gilligan" than anything... so I got my J. Congratulations on your recent anniversary!

Hey-

Yes, it is the same dress. David's Bridal CT2406, right? I purchased mine with a straight top and had a very, very good seamstress convert it to the sweetheart.

It was really strange coming out of the room all dolled up. We were in room 4421 in the mian atrium (one of the turret rooms with 180 degree views- incredible!) and people in the concierge lounge stood up and started clapping. I just about lost it. In the lobby, there were no less than 20 people gawking and shouting congratulations at any one time. It was the most surreal feeling. What I didn't understand, was that we had seen another bride and bridal party the day before... and none of it happpened to them. People just let them go about their business. We were super late, so the delays and distractions weren't necessarily what the EM wanted!!

Hi there. Yup, mine was ct2406, i looked it up at Davids Bridal website the other day, it is discontinued i guess cuz i could not find it. I had many people gawking and congratulating me too when i went to the Grand Floridian lobby. At least 30 people or so were there watching photos and Cinderella's Coach. Random people were cheering and claping and taking photos. I felt like a celebrity. Random women were screaming at me "You Go Girl" while i was in the coach doing the Cinderella wave. It was like you said, a surreal experience. I never even thought of having the top of my dress changed (not that i could have afforded it). That is great. I'd love to see more pictures sometime.

Oh, i read on the other thread that you did have your dress steamed. Did it need to be steamed or did you just get it steamed to make it perfection? Mine didn't need to be steamed but I was told I could call Carol Allen's when i got there in case it needed it.

Again you looked absolutely gorgeous and it looks like your big day was fantastic.

Talk to you soon!
