Photos at Resort

This may be an odd question but if we are going to stay there has anyone done pictures? Is that allowed?

I was showing my daughter the different resorts and she wants to bring her quinceanera dress and take some photos. Has anyone done anything like that?

My completely uneducated guess would be - Why Not?

As long are you are taking the pictures and its not a professional photographer. If its someone you hire then its a no no as you need to work with Disney then from my understanding.

People take engagement photos at Disney often. I don't see why it would be problem, especially since DFAP no longer offers this service.

Private property

They do not allow private photographers for commercial purposes and I don't see anything saying this rule has change. You can break the rules and get away with it likely but seems to still be against the policy.

It'll just be me(mom) taking photos - I just wasn't sure because with the huge puffy dress and a tiara she'll definitely stand out ... lol

A mom taking photos of her daughter in a dress at Disney World hardly seems against any Disney rules. People take a million photos at Disney every day with all kinds of backgrounds. Just be aware, if you plan to take photos at 'different resorts', you might not be able to just drive and park at a resort you're not staying - you'll probably need to take Disney transportation, depending on your plans.
