We have a 10:10 PS for CRT and was wondering if they have anyone who comes around doing pictures with kids and the Characters or will they pose for us with our DD's for some pictures. Just finished painting pinks and now decorating DD 8 bedroom with princess stuff all over. We'd love to get a good photo of her with a group of princesses if they do that. Thanks, YO

There are no professional photographers who come around to take photos. They are all "self-taken". However, servers are happy to take a picture of your group with a character. Photos of groups of characters, however, usually don't happen, as the characters don't work the room as a group.

One tip for photos at Cindy's: if you're near the windows, make sure to take the photos facing away from the windows.

Enjoy!

We've eaten here twice. As PJesse25 said, photos are all taken by you. We did get lucky and got a photo with Cinderella and Aurora at one time- just b/c their rotations ended them both at our table at the same time. Cinderella's time was really up at our table- she had been there a while- so she quickly smiled and left- not really posing for a photo but we got a quick one. You may possibly get a photo with more than one princess at a time- but don't get you hopes up. If it happens to work out, that would be great but I don't think it usually happens a lot.
Have a great time! Your DD will LOVE this experience!

Ditto, ditto, ditto on the window thing!
I lost a few pics this way. Luckily I had some that I could fix, but there were some that were just beyond repair.
So remember -- NO WINDOWS! ;)

Thanks for the tip. I'll remember that one. We'll just hope for the best opportunity and go from there. Maybe we'll just get them all one at a time and pick the best one for her room.

tink2 and Shells9,
How did you get around from AKL to places and how long did it take to get to some of your activities. I'd really appreciate the input from you.
Thanks, YO

Hi, Yo!
We had the car parked when we arrived at AKL and did not get back into it until we left. :D

We hopped on a bus anytime we wanted to go somewhere. I don't recall any super long bus rides from there, but I think MK is the longest one at something like an estimated 17 minutes. If you have The Unofficial Guide to Disney World I know there is a chart in there that has all of the transporation time estimates from each resort to each park.

Hope you have good trip, and let me know if there is anything else I can give you my opinion on -- I just love my opinion
;)

coachYO-
Like Shells9- we used the buses the entire time. We never waited more than 5-10 minutes for a bus anywhere- they were very efficient! The rides weren't very long- especially since AKL has its own buses and you didn't have to pick up or drop off people at other resorts! We were thrilled with the buses at AKL!
Tell Cindy hello for me and I'll see her soon!princess:

tink2 and Shells9,
Thanks for the info. Have you done Hoop De Doo, 1900 or Chef Mickeys or the water parks?
How did you go there?

tink2, we'll tell Cindy hi for ya.

Thanks, YO

One thing about windows and pictures - ANYTIME you have a window behind the subject it's a good habit to get into setting the camera for fill flash. This will brighten the foreground and help deasl with the camera's meter reading the bright light from the window.
