Photos at BBB?

I called made reservations for my 3 daughters on Halloweenat BBB in MK. I thought if you did not get the most expensive package with pictures there would be a Photopass photographer taking some pictures while they get ready and after for an informal shots? We got the photopass CD last year and was well worth it. BBB said the only way to get any pictures of your girls in production or after photo shoot was to get the top package???? Is this true? Is there a photopass photographer there?

We only got the $35 package and a photographer took about 4-5 shots. I took many more with my camera during the session.

I'm interested in hearing as well. My DD, and two nieces are having the Crown package @MK before their lunch at CRT.. Since CRT has photos I didn't bother with the photo package with BBB.

I also hope they let you take your own photos? I know my MIL will have a conniption if she can't take photos. Will not be pretty...

I would like to know as well. I am taking my DD in December before we go to MVMCP. I know you can take your own, but I also thought a photo pass photographer would be there as well?

When we went in 8/06; we took our own pictures and had the photopass photographer take pictures. We had the least expensive package.

We had the middle package for dd in September 2006, and there was a Photo pass photographer present who took about 9 shots of before during and after. We also took our own pics, and I have to say that the pics I took turned out better than the Photopass.

With the new prices and the new MK location, perhaps the Photopass situation has altered recently also????

Did the BBB move from Downtown Disney to the Magic Kingdom??

Currently you do not have to buy the castle package to have pics taken as well as after the expierence at the photo center you don't even have to buy the pics(unless you do the castle package) b/c it is a photopass photographer. Since disney has been making changes it is unknown at this time how things will be handled.

They are opening a second location in the castle in Sept and the price also goes up.

I'm planning on making RES's for BBB on 9/27 for my DD. But I wanted to know if they have a photo studio in MK like they have in DTD? I would perfer to make my Res's at MK and go to the Princess Dinner in Epcot from there.

I also would like to confirm that with one of the Smaller packages that we can still get a photos shoot on our Photopass card?

I was told by a CM when I made my reservations that yes there will be a studio for pictures in the Magie Kingdom BBB. Whether the studio will be in BBB or they will be photographed in another studio in the park (like in dowtown disney they are photographed in a studio a few doors up from World of Disney) I was not advised of.

We went in the middle of July and there was a photopass person there. However, there was only ONE for everyone, and I want to say there are about 12 chairs--all of which were filled. We did get some great shots by her, but I wouldn't count on it.

When we were there the photographers machine that she scans the cards in went down during DD's reveal shot. She took a picture with my camera for me. I wouldn't count on it, but it is nice to have.

We also did the pictures afterwards. The lady at the computer station where you view your shots actually told us to wait to get any until we bought the CD. We did get one later on with our free 5x7 voucher.
