I know when it comes to meeting the characters there is a time limit per family to go in, meet, talk, and snap a photo. So how much time do you have per family per character?

Like what I wanted to do was this, my party is just me and my partner, but I wanted to meet let's say Jack and Sally and wanted to get several photos,

1. Of me and Jack and Sally only
2. Of me, my partner and Jack and Sally
3. Of my partner and Jack and Sally only

Can my partner and I do this or will taking these many photos take up too much time? This goes for all character meet and greets using this same example.

They will let you take whatever assortment of photos you'd like, and since there's just the two of you it's only 3 photos. If you have a large group it gets quite annoying to those behind you when people do 20 different combos...

Sometimes if a character is really popular the CMs will announced one photo/pose per party. I think it will be that way with Oswald at first. However, when guests completely ignore them and do individual pics with their kids, kids only, whole family, mom only, the CMs don't do anything about it. I would say just keep in mind that the characters take frequent breaks and there's other guests who just want their one picture waiting behind you. If you're taking 5 minutes to set up a picture and then want several more minutes to do another picture and then another, yea, that might be too long. Having your camera out, and on, and being ready to hop in will definitely help you get in the pics you want here.

We've experienced this before - which is fine, I usually just want one of all the kids and the character (and they share one autograph book). And there have been plenty of times where they'll say "autograph books out, cameras on" or "pictures only, no autographs" .However, we've also had the opposite where I send the kids up for the picture, they take it and they ask me if I want to get in as well, even when there is a long line. I do think having PP+ helps with this though; the PP photographers always seem eager to get as many shots as they can for us.

I'm sure with just the two of you you'll be fine. Last Halloween my DGD(16) wanted a pic with Jack and Sally. We stood in line and when it was our turn, she got a pic with Jack and Sally. She also wanted one with just Jack. Sally stepped out of frame and Jack's poses with just my grand-daughter were priceless. The grin on her face made the whole trip for me!! Jack didn't have a problem spend an extra minute with us. All total our turn took maybe 3 minutes for her to visit with them as I snapped pics.

For pictures in the park I find my small point and shoot takes FOREVER to regenerate to take the next picture. That is what has slowed us down when taking pictures. Plus I'm annoyed myself for the length of time it takes.

For our Halloween trip last year, I lugged around my Nikon D90. It's the same camera many of the Disney Photographers use. Due to the fast speed of the D90 (on high it will shoot 4 frames a second) I was able to get several frames with all the characters we wanted.

I'll be taking the D90 more often just so we can have tons of pictures.

Have a fun time at the parks!
