When we went in December, there were PHOTOPASS photographers at random places in the parks as well as major meet-n-greet stations. For example, in Epcot, when the bus o' characters got off, they were stationed with Mickey & Minnie. And in MGM, at Al's Toy Barn with the Round up Gang. And also at MGM at the Incredilbes at Animation Studio's. We also saw them randomly in front of the castle, and on Main St.
They simply take a picture for you, so all of you can be in it, and swipe a credit card and give it to you. Then you keep the card and give it to the photopass photographers at any other place you meet them. Then, once at home, you can view your pics online and buy if you like or share for free. The bummer is that they only come in big sizes, 5x7 and up. But I have to say, the quality is great.
But.....try and keep the same card throughout the trip. Yes...one more thing to keep track of. Because we kept leaving ours in the room, and we got multiple ones, and then when we got home, it was confusing!
