Would I be ok ordering now with my trip being 35 days away? Not sure how it works, thought I would go ahead and do the preorder.

Sure. If you're talking about pre-ordering the regular PhotoPass CD, you can do that as little as one day before your trip, but if you're talking about the PhotoPass + CD, you have to be at least 14 days out because they need to send you a voucher that you then redeem in one of the parks for the PhotoPass + card. There's no expiration date if that's what you were worried about.

The Photopass + can be purchased at the park, you just don't get the discount.

I pre-ordered my PP+ before my recent trip, only to discover I messed up and only ordered the regular PP. I called nine days before my trip and a CM took my info over the phone and said I was all set and to just go to any photo station in the World and the change would be on my account. I got to the photo center in MK and there was no change on my account, they had credited me the original charge. They worked it out. They charged me the difference and I got the bonus CD at the park along with my I PP+ card.
