Can you combine photopass cards (or use same card) for different trips? I am going mid Sept. and trying to make a trip for Halloween as well.

Can I get both trips on the same CD?
How long after your trip do you have to access your pics online?
How long are your pics available after you access them?

You have 30 days from the time the photo was taken to 'claim' it online. Your photo is then 'saved' online for 30 days. Thus, giving you almost two months time. I for one though, can't wait that long to look at my pics. But if you are going mid September, do not 'add' your photos to your photopass account until early October so that those photos will be available when you load your Halloween pics. Good luck and enjoy!

When you have your first picture taken, that picture will sit there for 30 days. You have those 30 days to claim it. Once you have claimed the pictures, you have 30 days to do something with it, and after that it expires and leaves your account.

So if your timing is, say, first day at parks Sept 15, a picture taken that day will sit there until 30 days later (since Sept has 30 days that should be Oct 15, right?), when it has to be claimed. So, say to be safe you claim it (by entering the photopass card ID number on your account) Oct 14, you now have 30 days after that to do anything with it.

You can indeed put more trips than one on your account, and they could all be included on the photopass CD (which is, what I assume, you're going for) if the timing works out.

If your second trip is done before the second set of 30 days runs out, and you do your editing fast, yes, you could get both trips on the CD (as long as I haven't done some dreadful math error due to not yet having had even a cup of coffee yet).

But you would want to delay claiming those first pictures, to give yourself the most time.

At the parks, to make sure all the pictures you took are on your account, youc an go to the photopass centers (photo shop on main street in DL, and an area of Greetings from CA in DCA) and have them scan your card, and look on their monitors. Doing this does NOT associate the ID number with your account, so it's safe to do. And if memory serves the monitors are on the large-ish side so it's good to do a quality check of the pix. Make sure the important pictures are there and good, etc. Then take that photopass card home and put it in a safe place (you'll have already written down the card ID number somewhere, maybe taken a clear digital picture of the number, etc, so just in case you lose the card, you still have the *number*, which is the important part).

At about day 29 from the first picture taken, claim the pictures by entering the ID number on your online account.

Then go on your second trip, and as soon as you can, claim those pictures by entering the ID number, madly edit things (you can start editing pictures on your first trip once you claim them, by the way), and make sure you've ordered what you want to order before the second 30 days (from the day you claimed the first ones) runs out.

Once you have that DLR photopass card ID number on your account, you will see DLR pricing. That pricing has been for over a year, $59.95 for the photopass CD, plus $7.00 in standard domestic shipping.

bumbershoot is right. Let me demonstrate with my own experience.

On May 22, I started using PhotoPass at WDW. On June 18, I activated the account and started the 30 day clock on those PhotoPass pictures.

On July 2, I took an unplanned visit to Disneyland and used PhotoPass. I activated the DLR pictures on July 5 because I knew time was running out on my WDW pictures. On July 17, I ordered a PhotoPass cd with all PhotoPass pictures I had taken and edited from both WDW and Disneyland (over 400). FWIW, I paid the DLR price because that was the last card I entered. In a strange way, that trip ended up saving me money because of the cost difference between WDW and the DLR.

You must order the PhotoPass cd before the expiration of the first set of pictures. My WDW pictures were gone two days after I ordered (because I ordered the night before they were set to expire), and the DLR ones are still there.

You can do it, so just make sure that your timing is right and be prepared to have to edit the second set more quickly in order to to beat the deadline.

You can also e-mail them around day 25 and ask for an extended time before your pictures are deleted. You cannot count on this, but it is usually given.

We got a October WDW trip, and several November and December visits to DLR all on the same photopass CD using the method described above in terms of when to enter AND receiving a 30 day extended period on the far end.

Thank you. My 1st day is Sept. 11 and I'm hoping to go again Oct. 30th so it'll be cutting it close to make a decision, but it's doable.

Hmmm...

I don't know how long your trips are, but let's say they are 5 days.

Trip 1: Sept. 11 - 15 (If you have a picture taken on Day 1, it will be on your card until October 10.)
Trip 2: Oct. 30 - Nov. 3 (If you have a picture taken on Day 1 it will be on your card until November 29.)

If on Oct. 9 you enter your card from trip 1 into the website, you will have until Nov. 8 to enter the photos from trip 2, edit and order on that day.

Again, I don't know the length of your trips, but this is how it would play out using the example dates above. Tight, but do-able for sure.

If you waited until Oct 10 to claim the first trip's pictures, then you'd have 30 days after that to order. You could work on editing all those pictures from that time until your second trip so they would all be done. Then you might want to bring a laptop on your trip and spend some time editing the pictures of the trip you're on, to reduce the work you'll need to do (want to do, LOL) before that second set of 30 days runs out.

Doable if you have the time to do the editing just before your second trip and either during or immediately after your second!

My first trip will be the big one (6 days) and the second one will only be 2 1/2 days so I'll be home late on nov 1st. That'll give me over a week to edit the pics from the short trip.
