Is there a difference? I'm not sure I get it. We've been to DLR that last couple of years, and only done Photopass+ once. We liked it a lot.

Last year at DLR, we got Photopass Plus. It was like $70 in advance. I'm wondering what the difference is between that and Memory Maker I guess.

I've never heard of Photopass Plus. So am I correct that to get pictures at Character Meals, Bibbity Bobbity Boutique, and for videos, you have to purchase the Memory Maker? And I'm not sure how you get magic shots. We purchased the Memory Maker last year, but we never got any Magic Shots. I'm also very confused. We still use our cell phone and take our own pictures (except for the one time we brought our DGDs).

Photopass Plus at WDW was $100 about five years ago, and then $150 before "Memory Maker" was rolled out. I don't believe it's sold anymore. Or, rather, they changed the name to Memory Maker to make things more (or less) clear.

"Photopass" is the system of photographers and cameras throughout the parks. Anyone can have a picture taken, review them, and purchase one or two photos. Memory Maker (formerly Photopass Plus) is just a product that pre-purchases all of the photos you have taken.

Okay, so Memory Maker is the equivalent of Photopass Plus. It just apparently costs a heckuva lot more at WDW than DLR. Got it.

Photpass Plus is currently sold only in DL/DCA. WDW used to offer it but stopped a year or so ago.
You do not have to purchase Memory Maker to get character meals, BBB or videos. You'll pay per photo if you don't buy MM.
It only takes about 9 photos to make MM cheaper.
If you were to not prepurchase MM you can always purchase it after your trip. You pay an additional $30 if you purchase after your trip vs. before.
You often have to ask for Magic Shots. Not all photographers can do them. Usually any photographer with a tripod can not do them but most photographers with hand held cameras can.
