Photopass users manual for beginners

So, I want a photopass. I'll buy it when we arrive.. And.....
I need photopass users manual for beginners or Photopass for dummies.....

We had one this time, it was fantastic and we shared it with our friends.
Very simple to use:

• Buy the photopass pack
• Download the app or go to the website
• Enter the 16 digit photopass id code from the box
• Register account using email address and password
• Then just take to the till and ask for your photo to be scanned onto it

That's it. You can then view and share your photos directly from the app and when you get home you go to the website, login and download your photos.

I would advise asking the CM to double check that the photo is there each time you add one. we lost one TOT photo and nearly lost some more only that we checked.

you can download the app and register on the site on your phone/tablet before you get your photopass - that way when you buy it/get it in the shop at DLP, you are already logged onto the site and you can just input the code on the box to register your photopass and start getting your photos.

We did get all of our photos, but we had to check at the kiosk a couple of times, especially at BTM, the wrong photo was loaded and we had to get it changed, so do check at the kiosk when you finish your ride that the correct photo is loaded (you'll see it on the CMs photo screen which one is loaded to your card). I also got 3 photos which definitely didn't belong to me on my photopass account - of 3 different families, and one of them was from the Buzz lightyear ride when we hadn't even been near that part of the park yet!

I can't offer any advice as I've not had a photopass before but just wanted to bump this and say I'd be very interested in the answers to your questions and some guidance for the photopass too

We don't tend to buy any photos because they're so expensive (although we did buy from some nice ones when we did Meet Mickey on our last day of one trip) but have been known to take a quick snap of any especially good ride photos on the display screens.

The photopass seems a good price compared with the cost of buying single photos so I'm wondering if it would be worth getting one for our upcoming trip or if it's a lot of hassle having to check with CMs after every ride etc?

Reviews say it worth it. We tend to get 3-4 photos on our trip, so we'll save money.

yes, fill in all your details, you don't need to wait to get your photopass card to do that.

yes, at the rides with photos, go to the photo kiosk at the end of the ride, give your card to the CM, and they will download your photo to your card/account.

at character meet n greets with CM photographers, give your card to the CM before they start taking photos.

It was an absolute bargain for us as we shared the cost with our friends. We had all of the girls' makeover photos added to it plus character meets and a million BTM ride photos.

I suggested that to our friends who're coming, but newbies weren't interested because of high price, but if sharing, it's so worth it. I'm getting it anyway, I want to have those photos.
